Women entrepreneur – Paidighantom Shweta
Story –
Kauseyah was started in 2019 by Paidighantom Shweta, inspired by India's indigenous state, i.e., Chhattisgarh. She is a graduate of fashion school and has worked under several designers. Giving her the essential tools to thrive in this field. During her journey, she grew interested in slow fashion, which incorporates local craftspeople and the use of natural and raw materials to preserve crafts and the environment and, eventually, provide value to both customers and producers.
Her aim is to uplift the tribal women and support the rural community of artisans. That's why she decided to aid them by passing them her knowledge of fashion, boosting the educational standard of the rural community of Chhattisgarh. Thereby fulfilling the noble cause of saving the planet and helping the rural community of artisans.
An initiative named "Be More Zero Waste" was taken in October 2020. It focuses on upcycling and recycling scraped fabrics collected from local tailors and weavers into fabric journals and bags, thereby helping the tailors by providing them with the right price for their leftover fabrics and reducing the carbon footprint
The ideology behind Kauseyah is unique handmade products with zero wastage.
